The Oklahoma Student Leadership Forum is a three-day event that brings together a diverse group of university students from across the state. It is usually held every three years. The next one will likely be held in 2026. The program for the Forum is intentionally relational and largely focuses on servant leadership. Participants will interact with fellow students, recent college graduates, young professionals and established adults from the political, business and social service sectors of society.
Though the specifics of the Forum shift slightly over the years, the core activities include keynote addresses by political, community & business leaders, small group dialog, breakout sessions, panel discussions and more.
How: Students are nominated by leaders and mentors on their campuses and in their communities (e.g. university presidents, deans, student organization directors, and fellow student leaders). Once nominated, students receive an email invitation that includes a link to the online application. If you would like to nominate someone to attend the Forum or if you are interested in being nominated, please contact the Forum office.
Who: This event is hosted and facilitated by Oklahoma’s Governor or one of our US Senators, other politicians, business leaders, community activists, and others passionate about serving their fellow Oklahomans and equipping the next generation. These leaders encourage students and share personal insights regarding faith, values, and servant leadership among various communities.
